Stress/Anxiety

The quality of your life is only as good as the quality of your thoughts.

The job of the unconscious mind is to protect us from threat. This can lead to programs working automatically that were relevant in the past due to an event or past trauma, but are no longer appropriate. By working with the unconsious mind we can eliminate and delete unwanted programs that are no longer beneficial. We can also teach you self help techniques which can help you manage your symptoms.

Imagine how it would feel to be positive and in control.

A recent nationwide survey highlighted quite how prevalent stress is in a modern society. (Yougov, April 2018)

  • 74% of UK adults felt so stressed at times they were overwhelmed and unable to cope.
  • 32% of adults said they had experienced suicidal feelings due to stress.
  • 16% of adults said they had self harmed as a result of stress.

These shocking figures show the effect of stress is having on the nation's health. Not only can it be responsible for anxiety and depression, it can also affect physical wellbeing. It has been linked to heart disease as well as compromising our immune/digestive systems and affecting sleep patterns.

Anxiety comes in many forms and can have varying side effects which can include:

  • Insomnia
  • Irregular heartbeat
  • Panic attacks
  • Lack of libido
  • Feeling nauseous
